LOCATION: Site Based Role – Three days in Rotterdam, two days from home.
DURATION: 12 Month Contract.

I am looking for an Electrical Engineer to join my client in Rotterdam. The Engineer will assist in designing and maintaining electrical power distribution systems, managing power back up systems, and ensuring reliable power supply to all parts of the plant. The role is office/site based and involves working with the engineering, projects and maintenance teams on planned and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and maintaining electrical power distribution systems.
• Manage power back up systems and ensure reliable power supply to all parts of the plant.
• Collaborate with engineering, projects and maintenance teams on planned and preventative maintenance activities.
• Conduct asset inspections, auditing reports, and perform detailed technical reviews in operational site environments.

Qualifications

• Electrical (LV) and Instrumentation background with 5+ years’ experience.
• Proven experience in operational site environments and asset-related activities.
• Background in electrical engineering and design.
• Fluent English; Dutch language skills are beneficial.
• Knowledge of DCS or PLC control systems.
• Willingness to develop into asset reliability/engineering roles if direct asset experience is not present.
