Electrical Engineer

Overview

We are a machine manufacturing company based in Bohemia, NY. For the past 20 years, we’ve used a custom-designed controller to drive an induction bonder—a patented process we developed. We’re now looking to update the controller design with new features.

While we have a clear understanding of the enhancements we want to implement, we do not currently have an electrical engineer on staff. We’re seeking someone who can translate our requirements into a complete circuit board design and deliver the final schematics and layout to enable us to move forward with manufacturing the updated product.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional and performance requirements into a complete circuit board design.
• Create final schematics and PCB layout ready for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with our internal team to validate design constraints and test plans.

Qualifications

• Experience with analog and digital circuit design for embedded controllers.
• Proficiency in PCB CAD tools and design for manufacturability.
• Ability to provide documentation and test procedures to support production.
