Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and proactive Electrical Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance,
troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical distribution systems and utility equipment. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable performance of transformers, HT/LT panels, RMUs, synchronization panels, APFC panels, and HVAC utility systems, including AHUs, chillers, and heaters.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain electrical distribution systems, including transformers, HT panels, LT panels, RMU panels, synchronization panels, and APFC panels.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Monitor power quality, energy consumption, and system efficiency.
- Ensure safe operation and compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and
- company procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain and update electrical drawings, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
- Monitor and maintain utility systems, including AHUs, chillers, heaters, and associated control
- systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Participate in energy-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma and Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in industrial facilities, data centers, manufacturing plants, or utility operations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and utility equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and statutory compliance
- requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Erection, Installation, Testing, Commissioning, Operation, and Maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Expertise in Transformers, HT/LT Switchgear, RMU Panels, Synchronization Panels, APFC Panels, DG Systems, and Power Distribution Networks
- Hands-on experience in Electrical Erection Activities, including cable laying, cable tray installation, cable termination, gland dressing, panel installation, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
- Strong understanding of Electrical Drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), GA Drawings, Control Schematics, and As-Built Documentation.
- Knowledge of Power System Protection, Relay Coordination, Fault Analysis, Load Flow, and Selectivity Studies.
- Experience in Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Breakdown Maintenance (BM), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- Understanding of reliability metrics such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTF (Mean Time To Failure), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), Equipment Availability, and Reliability Analysis.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical faults, root cause analysis (RCA), failure analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Knowledge of Power Quality Management, Harmonic Analysis, Power Factor Correction, Energy Audits, and Energy Optimization.
- Experience in operation and maintenance of HVAC Systems, including AHUs, Chillers, Heaters, Pumps, Cooling Towers, and associated electrical controls.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, PLC Controls, and Automation Systems.
- Knowledge of HT/LT Cable Testing, Insulation Resistance (IR) Testing, Continuity Testing, Earth Resistance Testing, Transformer Testing, and Thermography.
- Strong understanding of Electrical Safety Standards, Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash Safety, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience in Vendor Management, Project Coordination, Shutdown Planning, AMC Management, and Spare Parts Planning.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, CMMS/SAP Maintenance Systems, and technical reporting
