Electronic Assembler 1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM | $18.25/hr. 2nd Shift: 3:24 PM 11:54 PM | $19.95/hr. Why you should apply to be Electronic/Mechanical Assembler: Competitive pay rate with overtime opportunities Work in a collaborative, safety-focused team environment Build valuable skills in electronics and mechanical assembly with a leading organization Opportunities for growth and cross-training in multiple manufacturing processes What's a typical day as Electronic/Mechanical Assembler you'll be: Assembling a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, electronic, and optical products by following detailed written instructions and blueprints Performing soldering tasks and demonstrating proficiency meeting J-STD certification standards Assembling, preparing, and molding wire harnesses and cable assemblies Inspecting parts, assemblies, and products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards Performing tests on assemblies, as well as preventive maintenance on tools and equipment Using hand tools and manual, semi-automatic, and automatic assembly/test equipment Complying with ESD requirements and all safety guidelines Maintaining a clean, organized work area and contributing to 5S and continuous improvement activities Communicating with other shifts as needed regarding job status and production updates This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a minimum of 6 months' experience as an electronic assembler with proven soldering proficiency Are able to complete J-STD soldering certification and pass a soldering skill evaluation Can read and interpret blueprints and follow detailed work instructions Have a basic understanding of computers Are willing and able to rotate through different manufacturing processes and work overtime as scheduled Can stand for up to 8 hours per day, bend, stoop, use hands, and lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted Possess unaided or corrected visual acuity of at least 20/40 in each eye at 20 feet, with the ability to distinguish colors Hold a high school diploma or equivalent What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
