Job Description
Our client is seeking a Renewable Energy Executive to support renewable electricity, wind energy and energy transition programmes across Ireland. This exciting opportunity will suit candidates with experience in renewable energy, electricity systems, power systems analysis, energy modelling, electricity markets and sustainable energy policy. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will contribute to renewable electricity research, wind power development, solar energy integration, decarbonisation initiatives and evidence-based energy policy.
The role offers exposure to electricity system analysis, data analytics, Python modelling, power generation, clean energy technologies and stakeholder engagement. Location: Dublin, Cork, Dundalk or Sligo (Hybrid) Salary: €53,071 Contract: 18 months Key Responsibilities Conduct electricity system analysis and renewable energy research.
Develop and enhance analytical tools using Python and related technologies. Analyse and integrate data to support electricity markets and energy policy. Produce reports and technical briefings for stakeholders and policymakers.
Support renewable electricity, wind energy and decarbonisation programmes. Essential Requirements NFQ Level 8 degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum three years' experience in renewable energy or renewable energy development.
Strong knowledge of renewable electricity and electricity system analysis. Experience with Python and energy modelling tools. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Proven analytical, reporting and project delivery skills. Desirable Requirements Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Public sector experience.
Experience managing external service providers. Professional membership of a relevant body. Knowledge of customer-focused service delivery.
