Role Description
:The Remote Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for remote commissioning, validation, integration, and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC control systems. The role requires deep technical understanding of Niagara Framework, control logic, field devices, and building equipment, with the ability to diagnose system-level issues and optimize performance remotely.
Responsibilities:
·Provide startup, commission, and re-commission of customer HVAC, lighting, and refrigeration systems.
·Understanding and reviewing, technical documents such as wiring diagrams, as-builts, exc.
·Support and provide Commissioning and troubleshooting of BMS equipment’s via calls, e-mails, tickets etc.
·Understanding the operation of field level equipment’s such as AHU, RTU, HP Chiller, sensors, and Coordination with Field operations team
·Use questioning and listening skills that support effective telephone communication.
·Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.
·Prepare detailed commissioning reports, as-built documentation, and technical advisory notes.
·Apply the elements of building positive rapport with different types of customers over the phone.
·Display Time flexibility towards shifts as per work floor requirements.
·Track commissioning issues, punch points, and action items to closure using project trackers.
Basic Qualifications & Experience:
·Min 3 years’ experience in the field of BMS or control system commissioning, functional testing and troubleshooting activities.
·Having fair knowledge on HVAC systems and its operations
·Having good understanding on BMS programming and control logics ,3rd party system integration such as Energy meters, VFD etc.
·Familiarity with protocols like BACnet, Modbus etc.
·Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
·Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to organize and plan your work schedule.
·Always maintain a professional presentation in appearance
·B.E in related discipline preferably Electronics/Instrumentation & control/Mechatronics/Electrical etc.
