At KONE, we shape the future of cities.Be one of the first applicants, read the complete overview of the role below, then send your application for consideration.As a global leader in the lift and escalator industry, KONE moves more than one billion people every day.Through our innovative lifts, escalators and automatic building door solutions, together with industry-leading maintenance and modernisation services, we help create safe, sustainable and seamless people flow in buildings around the world.We are currently seeking an Engineer Surveyor (Lift Modernisation) to join our Dublin team on a full-time basis.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lift Engineer looking to move into a more consultative and customer-facing role.Working closely with customers, sales teams and technical stakeholders, you will play a key role in developing modernisation and major repair solutions that help extend the life, safety and performance of lift equipment.What You'll Be Doing Conducting site surveys for lift modernisation and major repair projects Assessing existing equipment and identifying modernisation opportunities Taking accurate site measurements, photographs and technical data in line with KONE standards Completing survey reports and technical documentation Uploading survey information and project details into CRM systems Supporting the maintenance and updating of global technical databases Providing technical recommendations and practical solutions for customers Participating in internal and customer meetings to discuss project requirements and technical solutions Building strong relationships with customers through professional expertise and trusted advice Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with KONE safety standards and industry regulations What We're Looking For Qualification in Lift Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Previous experience within the lift industry, ideally in service, maintenance, repair or installation Strong technical understanding of lift equipment, including legacy and older-model systems Ability to interpret technical information and identify suitable modernisation solutions Excellent communication and customer relationship skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy when recording survey data Good IT skills and experience using technical reporting systems A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving Full driving licence Why Join KONE?
