Engineering Manager

We’re working with a high-growth SaaS business building innovative products in the B2B sales and marketing space. They’re now looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and develop a team delivering customer-facing products.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong hands-on engineering background who has moved into leadership, but still enjoys staying close to the code and driving engineering quality.

The Role

You’ll lead a team of engineers, owning both delivery performance and people development, while helping shape engineering standards and best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and mentoring engineers, supporting performance and career growth
• Driving engineering quality, standards, and best practices
• Monitoring team performance and improving delivery efficiency
• Supporting hiring and retention of top engineering talent
• Promoting a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture
• Contributing technically where needed (code reviews, architecture, problem-solving)

Tech Environment

Modern stack including: Typescript, Node.js / NestJS, Vue.js, Redis, SQL Server & Snowflake

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in software engineering (hands-on experience essential)
• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
• Solid understanding of clean code, design patterns & DevOps practices
• Experience building scalable, maintainable systems
• Knowledge of testing, performance, and secure development
• Strong communication and leadership skills
