Role DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time Engineering & QA Manager to join our team on-site near Surabaya, Indonesia. This role is responsible for leading engineering and quality assurance functions to ensure efficient production, consistent product quality, and continuous process improvement.
Key responsibilities include overseeing engineering and QA teams, driving process optimization initiatives, establishing and maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with industry requirements. You will lead cross-functional projects, support new product introduction, and implement scalable systems that improve production performance and reliability.
This role serves as a critical link between regional production teams, requiring strong technical leadership, clear communication, and the ability to translate product requirements into effective manufacturing execution. You will play a central role in advancing operational capability, strengthening quality systems, and supporting the company’s continued growth.
QualificationsDemonstrated leadership ability to effectively manage Engineering and Quality Assurance teams in a manufacturing environmentStrong expertise in process optimization, production engineering, and continuous improvement methodologiesProven ability to develop, implement, and sustain quality assurance systems and standardsExcellent problem-solving skills with strong analytical thinking and attention to detailStrong project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced production environmentWorking knowledge of international manufacturing standards and environmental compliance requirementsAbility to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional multicultural teamsProactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on team engagement and continuous improvementExperience in softgoods, sporting goods, footwear, or related industries preferredExperience in advanced manufacturing or “smart factory” environments preferredExperience with digital tools, production systems, and data-driven decision-making
Requirements3-5+ years of experience in Engineering and/or Quality Assurance within a production factory environmentMinimum 1+ years of leadership experience with direct reportsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field required (advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus)Six Sigma certification required; black belt preferredProfessional working proficiency in English requiredFluency in at least one of the following languages desired, with the ability to operate in a business and technical environment:Bahasa IndonesiaMandarin Chinese
Position: Engineering & QA ManagerLevel: ManagementLocation: Indonesia (On Site)Probation: 3 MonthsSalary: 30 - 40 million IDR (Depends on experience and qualifications)
