POSITION SUMMARY: This role identifies and assesses risks in the workplace or work processes and implements recommended measures to eliminate or contain them. The analytical and observant individual is also responsible for preventing or reducing health and environmental risks, formulating environmental protection policies and procedures, and developing alternatives to enhance operational procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Strong Leadership & Excellent Communication SkillsD3/D4/S1 from any related fieldMinimum 3 year as EHS Officer/SpecialistHolding active certificate of Kemnaker AK3UKemnaker Fire Fighter and CPR/First Aid certification are a plusUnderstanding of EHS Regulation and ProcedureExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacyExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent Auditing Skills (Compliance Audit, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 and Customer Specific Requirements)Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio)Ensure daily tasks are performed in alignment with OHS&E practices and applicable standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and Automotive Quality Management System (IATF 16949)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Address areas of non-conformance to Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards through corrective actionsAnalyze areas of non-conformance to Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards to determine reasons for non-conformanceAnalyze how different approaches may impact the problem-solving outcomesConduct learning activities to enhance Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards and practicesDevelop an action plan based on best solutions identified during EHS solutioning discussionsDevelop corporate social responsibility policies for logistics operationsDevelop measures to enhance organizational awareness of environmental protectionDrive WSH activities to ensure department compliance with requirementsEvaluate risk factors that impact efficiencyFacilitate discussions on WSH reports and findingsFormulate WSH solutions based on analysis of WSH reportsFormulate EHS protection policies and proceduresImplement advanced environmental protection policies and proceduresOptimize use of allocated resources within business activitiesOrganize internal audit schedules for EHS and customersReview allocation of resources across different business activitiesReview changes in compliance/tariff/rate/cost/quotation requirements and eligibility to manage impact on compliance operationsReview different aspects of project management based on priorities and needsReview environmentally friendly trends in the industry for implementation Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Other jobs assigned
