The Opportunity
Retail Media & Performance is a hands‑on executional role within the eCommerce team, responsible for operating, optimizing, and scaling Retail Media investments across Amazon Ads and Mercado Libre Ads in Brazil.
This role is designed for a senior performance operator capable of executing and managing large‑scale retail media budgets (+USD 200K) with a strong focus on ROAS, sales growth, and media efficiency. The role combines deep platform expertise, data‑driven decision making, and full‑funnel retail media execution, ensuring maximum business impact.
While strong data and analytics capabilities are required, data is used as a tool to drive daily optimization and smarter media decisions, not as a standalone function.
What You’ll Do
1. Retail Media Strategy & Budget Ownership
- Own the end‑to‑end Retail Media strategy and execution for Amazon Ads and Mercado Libre Ads.
- Manage and fully execute media budgets above USD 200K, ensuring pacing and efficiency.
- Define performance targets (ROAS, TACoS, incremental sales).
- Allocate budgets across products, campaigns, and formats based on performance.
- Identify scaling opportunities through new ad formats and betas.
2. Hands‑on Campaign Execution (Core Focus)
- Build, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns directly in‑platform.
- Amazon Ads: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display.
- Mercado Libre Ads: Sponsored Products, Brand Ads, search and display formats.
- Execute advanced bidding, keyword harvesting, and search term analysis.
- Optimize daily and weekly for ROAS and sales velocity.
- Lead A/B testing of creatives, formats and structures.
3. Data, Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Analyze sales and media data to generate actionable insights.
- Build dashboards tracking ROAS, CTR, CVR and media efficiency.
- Connect ad performance with commercial results and incrementality.
- Dynamically reallocate budgets based on performance.
4. Cross‑functional Collaboration
- Align with Brand, Marketing and Trade teams on launches and promotions.
- Brief creative teams on performance‑driven asset needs.
- Act as internal Retail Media expert for Amazon and Mercado Libre.
- Partner with platforms to unlock insights and opportunities.
5. Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement
- Track KPIs: ROAS, TACoS, CTR, CVR, Share of Search, Sales contribution.
- Identify gaps and propose optimization actions.
- Apply test‑and‑learn methodologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of hands‑on Retail Media or Performance Marketing experience.
- Proven track record managing budgets above USD 200K.
- Expert, hands‑on knowledge of Amazon Ads and Mercado Libre Ads.
- Strong ROAS‑oriented mindset and optimization skills.
- Advanced analytical and reporting capabilities (Excel, Power BI, platform dashboards).
- Highly autonomous, execution‑focused and results‑driven profile.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
