Estimator Co Antrim Competitive Salary + Bonus & Benefits Energis is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and successful business based in County Antrim, for an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused individual to play a key role in securing new business and supporting the continued growth of a successful organisation. Working as part of an established estimating team, you will be involved in pricing projects from initial enquiry through to tender submission and project award.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers, contractors and internal teams to deliver accurate cost estimates and ensure projects are progressed effectively from enquiry stage through to completion. The Role As Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive project costings while supporting the development of long-term customer relationships and identifying opportunities to secure new business. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate project estimates and costings from customer enquiries, drawings and technical information Work closely with the estimating team to price and secure new projects Complete and submit tender documentation within required deadlines Review Bills of Quantities, drawings and specifications to ensure pricing accuracy Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors and stakeholders Attend customer meetings and support project discussions where required Provide regular updates to management on project status, tender activity and pipeline information Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requirements, budgets and project timelines are achieved Support ongoing business development and identify opportunities to maximise sales potential About You Previous estimating experience within engineering, manufacturing or construction environments Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering information Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience negotiating and influencing effectively with customers and stakeholders Strong planning, organisational and project coordination skills Proficient in Microsoft Office packages Commercial awareness with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service What's on Offer Competitive salary in the region of £40,000 depending on experience Bonus scheme Life insurance Healthcare package Flexitime Pension scheme Opportunity to join an established business with a strong reputation and long-term career prospects For further information and a confidential discussion, please send your CV via the link provided.
