Role Description
We are seeking an Executive / Assistant Manager - Finance & Admin for a full time role in the Greater Delhi Area. The role involves managing day-to-day financial and administrative operations, including budget planning, reporting, bookkeeping, and compliance with relevant regulations. The candidate will also assist in procurement processes, resource allocation, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Clear communication and cross-team collaboration will be crucial for delivering high-quality support to our projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial management, including budget planning, and bookkeeping.
- Experience with administrative tasks such as procurement, resource allocation, and compliance documentation.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail for maintaining operational efficiency.
- Proficient in tools like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic accounting software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with organizational policies, government regulations, and compliance requirements in India.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CA, MBA) are a plus.
- Prior experience in finance and administration roles, particularly in startup or similar sectors, is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Finance & Accounting Operations
- Manage or support end-to-end accounting: AP, AR, general ledger, journal entries
- Perform bank and vendor reconciliations with high accuracy
- Assist or own monthly and annual closing processes
- Support preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
2. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare and publish monthly MIS reports
- Track budgets vs actuals and highlight key variances
- Build reports and dashboards using Excel
- Provide meaningful insights, not just numbers
3. Payroll & Compliance
- Process payroll and ensure accuracy of statutory deductions
- Manage compliance including GST, TDS, EPF, ESI
- Handle filings, returns, and documentation
- Coordinate with auditors for audits and financial reviews
4. Administration & Vendor Management
- Manage vendor onboarding, contracts, and payment tracking
- Ensure smooth coordination between finance, HR, and operations
- Oversee day-to-day administrative processes
- Maintain documentation and process discipline
