Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Chef with a strong background in Mediterranean cooking and a desire to lead a collaborative kitchen team. Our ideal candidate has a hands-on approach, takes pride in training and mentoring staff, and knows how to deliver consistent, high-quality food while managing costs and operations. Executive Chef Responsibilities:Lead day-to-day kitchen operations in a busy, full-service Mediterranean restaurantDevelop and maintain seasonal Mediterranean menus and weekly specialsEnsure consistent food quality, portion control, and plating standardsTrain, coach, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high performanceOversee inventory management, food costing, and labor controlMaintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen in compliance with health regulationsCollaborate with ownership and FOH management on service and event executionParticipate in occasional off-site catering and private eventsExecutive Chef Requirements:5+ years of experience in kitchen management2+ years as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or similar leadership roleProven success in managing food cost, labor cost, and BOH financialsStrong leadership and communication skills; a patient and supportive trainerBackground in Mediterranean cuisine (e.g., Greek, Turkish, Middle Eastern, North African, or coastal European influences)Experience with catering and event menus a plusWhat We Offer:Wonderful company culture!Vacation/PTOGenerous salary with BonusHealthcare (MDV)Tremendous growth opportunity
