Executive Legal Assistant to General CounselSalary Range: $110,000–$125,000Job SummaryOur client, an engineering company is seeking an Executive Legal Assistant to support their General Counsel and Legal Team. The Executive Legal Assistant provides high-level administrative and organizational support to the Legal Department, assisting with corporate compliance, Board of Directors, and corporate registration and professional licensing matters. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role suits a detail-oriented, highly organized professional with a strong grasp of corporate structures and regulatory requirements.Legal Department SupportHandle day-to-day administrative needs of the Legal DepartmentKeep organized records and calendars for legal matters such as subpoenas, discovery responses, document requests, and pending litigationHelp schedule and coordinate depositions and other discovery logisticsMonitor jurisdiction-specific filing and claim deadlines relevant to the businessOversee document and file organization for the departmentBoard of Directors SupportAttend and record notes during quarterly and special Board meetingsSupport minute-taking and recordkeeping for Board mattersComplianceHelp track and manage professional and entity licensing requirements across jurisdictionsSupport efforts to keep corporate registrations current and in good standing with state agenciesAssist with filings and submissions in government compliance systemsRequirementsBachelor's degree in legal studies or related field, with 5+ years of relevant experiencePrior experience supporting senior executives or board-level leadershipStrong organizational skills and close attention to detailProven ability to juggle multiple deadlines and projectsBackground in a regulated industry a plusParalegal training or corporate law/compliance experience a plusComfort with compliance or license-tracking softwareProficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft OfficeNotary Public commission a plusWe will consider qualified candidates with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
