Expert Mechanical Estimator Needed

Join a hands-on role as a Mechanical Estimator, focusing on construction cost analyses and preparing detailed project estimates on-site. Your experience in commercial and industrial projects will be vital.

In this permanent, full-time position, you will be responsible for estimating costs and managing budgets for various mechanical construction projects. You will read blueprints, utilize CADD software, and coordinate with contractors and engineers to ensure accuracy in all estimations. This role supports a range of construction projects, from small endeavors to large-scale builds.

Key Responsibilities: • Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor and materials • Draft and submit bids, quotes, and estimate reports • Consult with engineers and contractors for cost adjustments • Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems • Analyze and recommend tenders for project awards

Requirements: • Experience in mechanical and industrial construction • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel • Strong organizational skills with time management abilities • Must pass criminal record and driving checks • Transportation required for project site visits
