Facilities Administrator – Window Inspection & Condition Report Project
Location: Oranmore, Galway
Duration: 3 weeks, with potential extension of 2–3 weeks
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
Salary: €38,803–€40,764 per annum, pro rata
Work Arrangement: On-site
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Administrator to support a short-term Window Inspection and Condition Report Project at a large corporate facility in Galway.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the successful candidate will carry out a comprehensive inspection of internal windows throughout the facility, document their condition and functionality, and assist in producing a detailed condition report and window asset register.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect internal windows throughout the facility.
- Record the location, size and condition of each window.
- Identify and document defects, damage and maintenance issues.
- Assess the severity and condition of identified defects.
- Test window opening and closing mechanisms and functionality.
- Photograph windows and any identified defects as supporting evidence.
- Record findings accurately in an asset register.
- Assist with preparing a comprehensive Window Condition Report.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Use Microsoft Excel and Word to record, organise and present information.
- Work closely with the Facilities Manager and wider team throughout the project.
Experience & Skills
Essential:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good administrative and organisational skills.
- Experience working in a professional or corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and systematically.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete detailed work within tight deadlines.
Desirable:
- Previous facilities, property or general maintenance experience.
- Experience conducting inspections or condition surveys.
- Experience maintaining asset registers or databases.
- Experience using photographic equipment to document findings.
