Job Description
The Facility Engineer at QpiVolta will be responsible for the end-to-end management, reliability, and scalability of facility infrastructure, ensuring seamless support for R&D, pilot manufacturing, and future scale-up. This role covers utilities, building systems, lab environments, safety, and infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on uptime, compliance, and operationalefficiency.

Ensure continuous operation of:o Electrical systems (HT/LT panels, DG sets, UPS)o HVAC systemso Chillers, compressors, and water syst
ems
Maintain high uptime (>99%) for all critical infrastruc
ture
Monitor performance and proactively address inefficie
ncies
- Maintenance & Reliability Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance sch
edules
Track breakdowns and perform root cause analysi
s (RCA)
Maintain logs for equipment health and lifecycle
planning
- Infrastructure & Project Execution Plan and execute:o Facility upgradeso New equipment installationso Layout modifications for lab/pilot line
expansion
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and inte
rnal teams
Review drawings, BOQs, and technical spe
cifications
- Safety, Compliance & EHS Ensure compliance with:o Fire safety systemso Electrical and industrial safety standardso Statutory
regulations
Conduct safety audits and ris
k assessments
Maintain documentation for inspections and
certifications

Key RequirementsEducation B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil EngineeringExperience 3-6 years in facility engineering / plant operations / infrastructuremanagement Experience in manufacturing, R&D labs, or industria
l setups preferred
Technical Skills Strong knowledge of:o Electrical systems (DG, UPS, panels)o HVAC and cooling systemso Utility systems (ai
r, water, chillers)
Familiarity with BMS (Building
Management Systems)
Ability to troubleshoot multi-s
