LOCATION: Dignity Health Medical Group Nevada (DHMGN) clinic, North Las Vegas, NV
JOB SUMMARY:
Dignity Health Medical Group NV and St. Rose Internal Medicine Residency program seeks a primary care physician for its Internal Medicine Residency Continuity Clinic. This role involves direct patient care, ambulatory teaching, and clinical leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinical Leadership & Direct Patient Care:
- Maintain an independent primary care practice, providing comprehensive direct patient care to a panel of general internal medicine patients within the clinic setting.
- Actively participate in departmental and organizational initiatives aimed at standardizing equitable whole person care and improving health outcomes.
Ambulatory Teaching & Resident Supervision:
- Provide ambulatory teaching and preceptorship to internal medicine residents and medical students, fostering their clinical skills, diagnostic reasoning, and patient management abilities.
- Assume direct supervisory responsibility for internal medicine residents and medical students during their clinical rotations.
- Guide residents in the development and execution of ambulatory-based quality improvement projects, promoting a culture of continuous learning and data-driven improvements..
Programmatic & Institutional Contribution:
- Serve as a role model for professionalism and integrate CommonSpirit Health's mission and values into all aspects of clinical practice, teaching, and leadership.

Job Requirements
Education & Certification:
- MD or DO Degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program in internal medicine or family medicine.
Licensure:
- Must hold or be eligible for Nevada State medical licensure.
Experience:
- Two (2) years of ambulatory general internal medicine or family medicine experience preferred
- New or upcoming graduates of a PGY4 IM Chief Residency or ambulatory focused fellowship (such as geriatrics, addiction medicine or palliative care) are encouraged to apply
- Compensation Information:
$246771.20 / Annually - $296795.20 / Annually
