Our established private primary care clinic in the Beaches area is seeking a dependable, professional, and patient-focused team member to join our practice. This is a full-time medical assistant position with opportunities for on-site training and professional growth.

Position Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a medical clinic as a Medical AssistantExperience with the Athena EMR system is a plusExcellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environmentProfessional demeanor with a strong focus on patient care and confidentialityAbility to act calmly in busy or stressful situationsAbility to prioritize patient needs Spoken and written fluency in English and Medical terminologyKnowledge of authorizations, prior authorizations, and referrals

Responsibilities Include:Room and triage patients quickly and accurately Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable privacy regulations and practice policiesManaging phone calls and patient communications through voicemail and patient portalAccurately document patient information, treatments, communications, and services in medical recordsMaintain professional conduct, attendance, punctuality, and appearance standardsSupporting daily clinic operations
