Job Overview
The selected candidate will work for Stony Brook University's Department of Family, Population and Preventive Medicine as a full-time, patient-focused clinician in an ambulatory Patient Centered Medical Home setting that is collegial and team-based (no inpatient requirements). The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the teaching mission, research projects and collaborate on innovative evidence-based patient care programs.
Qualifications
- MD or DO (or foreign equivalent)
- DEA Certification or eligibility
- Board Certified or eligible in Family Medicine
- New York State Licensed or eligible
- Graduate of an Accredited Family Medicine Residency Training Program
Preferred Qualifications
- Three or more years of primary care experience
- Experience working in a patient-centered medical home environment
- Interest in teaching residents and medical students
Start Date
As soon as possible.
Employment Terms
Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA exempt position, not eligible for overtime provisions.
