Job Description
Glacial Plains Cooperative is hiring a Feed Sales Representative to join our team remotely in the De Graff, MN area (about 80 miles southwest of St. Cloud). In this role you will work directly with livestock producers to provide feed recommendations, animal nutrition guidance, and exceptional customer service.
This role combines agricultural sales with technical knowledge of livestock production and animal health to help customers improve herd performance and profitability. Glacial Plains Cooperative is a full-service agricultural cooperative serving west central Minnesota with five locations providing grain, agronomy, feed, and energy solutions to local farmers. What you will be doing: Develop and maintain strong relationships with livestock producers throughout the territory. Visit farms to evaluate operations and provide feed and animal nutrition recommendations.
Promote and sell feed products designed to support livestock performance and animal health. Process customer orders and coordinate deliveries with internal teams. Identify new business opportunities while growing existing customer accounts.
Stay current on industry trends, feed technologies, and livestock nutrition best practices. Deliver outstanding customer service while representing Glacial Plains Cooperative professionally. Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.
This job is for you if you have: Experience in agricultural sales, livestock production, or a related agriculture field. Knowledge of animal nutrition, livestock feeding programs, or animal health is strongly preferred. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage a sales territory independently. Passion for helping farmers improve the success of their operations. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
