Company Description Prismapar is an advisory and venture firm specializing in M&A, corporate finance, business development, and venture funding for companies in expansion or strategic repositioning. The firm supports clients across business growth, mergers and acquisitions, strategic sales, and capital raising from banks, private equity funds, and capital markets. Acting as a “Business Development Partner,” Prismapar works from initial strategy formulation through implementation, helping managers stay focused on core operations during complex transactions.
Prismapar also manages funds focused on venture capital and search opportunities, and advises international groups and private equity funds on opportunities in key Latin American markets.
Role Description Prismapar is looking for a Brazilian (or PT-BR native) ideally based in LATAM, although most of the work is remote. In this role, the Finance Associate supports advisory and venture projects by preparing and analyzing financial statements, assisting with financial reporting packages, and contributing to valuation and capital-raising analyses. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and updating financial models, conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis for client engagements, and organizing data and documentation for transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and strategic sales.
The Finance Associate will collaborate with senior team members, prepare clear summaries and presentations for internal and client use, and help ensure accurate, timely financial information for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, including understanding of corporate finance concepts and transaction processes.
- Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with the ability to interpret and prepare key reports.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, including experience with financial modeling, data analysis, and scenario evaluation.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to present complex financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced usage of AI and AI Agentic tools
- Comfort working in Excel and other analytical tools; familiarity with presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint) is beneficial.
- Detail-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in corporate transactions, venture funding, and Latin American markets; previous exposure to advisory or investment environments is a plus.
