We've partnered with a global and acquisitive tech company to recruit for aFinance Business Partner. This is a high visibility role, reporting directly to an experienced CFO with subsequent commercial scope to make a genuine impact on the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary finance partner to designated business units, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in understanding financial performance and cost drivers
- Attend and contribute to leadership and operational review meetings, providing real-time financial insight
- Challenge business decisions constructively, ensuring financial implications are clearly understood before commitments are made
- Analyse financial and operational data from multiple sources to surface trends, risks, and opportunities
- Assist FP&A on budgets and contribute to the preparation of the consolidated group forecast and monthly management accounts
- Identifying savings opportunities, tracking initiative delivery, and reporting progress to the CFO
- Build strong, productive relationships with commercial, operational, and technology stakeholders
- Present financial findings and recommendations to the CFO and senior leadership team in a clear and confident manner
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure consistency of approach and continuous improvement of processes and tools
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in a business-partnering or commercial finance role
- Experience in a tech/SaaS and/or PE-backed environment is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical mindset i.e. comfortable working with large datasets and building models that inform decision-making
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data to non-finance stakeholders
- High proficiency in Excel; experience with financial reporting or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
