About the Role:

Walor Energy is looking for a Finance & Strategy Lead to build and lead our finance function while partnering closely with the founders to drive strategic growth. This role will own financial planning, fundraising, investor due diligence, compliance, and financial operations, helping scale the company as we build the future of sustainable mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Drive fundraising activities, investor engagement, and due diligence processes.
• Develop financial models, business insights, and strategic recommendations for leadership.
• Establish robust financial controls, reporting systems, and compliance processes.
• Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, banks, and external stakeholders.
• Support long-term business planning and growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in finance, corporate strategy, investment banking, consulting, or high-growth startups.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, fundraising, and investor due diligence.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
