Financial Accountant

On behalf of a growing property group with a broad portfolio spanning residential, social housing and commercial real estate, we are looking to hire a Financial Accountant.

This is a varied role offering hands‑on exposure across acquisition, development and asset management - an excellent platform for a recently qualified accountant looking to build depth in real estate finance.

The Financial Accountant will take ownership of the financial management and reporting across a number of SPVs, working closely with a close‑kit finance team, as well as multiple senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-end bank reconciliation, close processes and production of monthly management accounts and board packs
• Bi-monthly VAT returns and annual RTD reporting
• Supporting annual audits across the group's
• SPVs Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow preparation across various SPVs
• Managing the drawdown function and liaising with financial institutions, suppliers and project monitors

Requirements

• Newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 0‑2 years PQE
• Big 4/ Top 10 trained with experience auditing property development, construction or real estate funds is advantageous
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior management
• Familiarity with Yardi or similar systems is a plus
