Financial Accountant

My client has a requirement for a financial accountant to join on a 15 month contract basis.

The successful candidate will work in a broad role, managing a variety of tasks and will work as part of a close-knit and supportive finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation of year-end audit file and statutory accounts
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Group reporting to parent company
• Involvement in the budgeting and forecasting process
• Sales reporting and analysis
• Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance to internal policies
• Support the external audit process and assist with auditor queries
• Provide mentorship and guidance to more junior members of the team

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant with 2-5 years’ PQE
• Relevant post qualified experience gained in industry
• Strong financial reporting knowledge
• A self-starter who can manage a variety of tasks and deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
