We're Hiring | Assistant Financial Accountant

Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil (Applicants must currently reside in Natal or commutable area)

At Rivaz , we're building the future of mineral exploration through technical excellence, innovation, and responsible resource development. As our operations continue to grow in Brazil, we're looking for a motivated Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Natal.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to grow their career within the mining and mineral exploration industry while working alongside an experienced international leadership team.

What You'll Do

As our Assistant Financial Accountant , you will:

✅ Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.

✅ Process journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger transactions.

✅ Support month-end and year-end close activities.

✅ Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash reconciliations.

✅ Help prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

✅ Support tax filings, statutory reporting, and audit requirements.

✅ Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and Brazilian accounting standards.

✅ Assist with financial analysis and reporting for operational projects.

✅ Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls.

What We're Looking For

✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

✔ CRC registration (or eligibility to obtain registration) preferred.

✔ 3–5 years of accounting experience.

✔ Strong understanding of Brazilian accounting principles and financial reporting.

✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

✔ Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and organizational skills.

✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

✔ Professional communication skills and a collaborative approach.

✔ English language skills are an advantage but not essential.

✔ Must currently reside in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte.
