Job Description
As a Financial Analyst Senior Principal, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the budgeting and forecasting for the IT, HR and IHS organizations. You will play a crucial role in planning and analysis to ensure the financial aspects of the Information Technology needs of the company are supported.
Responsibilities
- Support the internal IT, HR and IHS organizations providing financial guidance and reporting for a dynamic, varied IT space including Cyber operations and AI development.
- Collaborate with department managers and your team to advise and work toward accurate financial forecasting.
- Drive successful budget planning and forecasting to ensure the needs of GDIT are well supported in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Utilize Oracle Cloud based reporting tools, SmartView, and internally developed financial systems in addition to robust excel skills to develop forecasting models. Maintain rigorous documentation for continued readiness for DCMA/DCAA audit inquiries.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- Experience: 10+ years of related experience
- Technical skills: Advanced Excel and Oracle skills required. Understanding of Power BI/Tableau strongly encouraged.

- Role requirements: The ability to support the varied needs of a dynamic team will be crucial. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Understanding and proficiency in Excel and company forecasting models will be crucial to success. Understanding of Capital Expenditure concepts and fixed asset depreciation extremely useful.
Benefits
The likely salary range for this position is $112,840 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
