POSITION OVERVIEW – Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to support business decisions, budgeting processes, forecasting activities, and financial operations. This role partners closely with Sales Finance, Channel Marketing, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and other internal teams to manage financial processes, reconcile accounts, support month-end close activities, and ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with financial systems, and the ability to manage vendor payments, budgets, and process improvements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company
- Ability to gather and analyze large sets of data from multiple sources, prepare both quantitative and qualitative analysis of information
- Skills to manage the vendor invoices, ensuring their accuracy and timely payment processing
- Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records to foster strong business partnerships with Sales finance, Channel Marketing, Procurement, and AP teams to promote teamwork and organizational alignment, including sharing best practices across divisions.
- Submit budget request (Plan Proposals) for Marketing programs and Ensures adherence to budget policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Managing the payment schedule, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining communication regarding payment status.
- Verify purchase orders against invoices to ensure goods and services are received and paid for correctly
- Reconciling accounts payable ledgers, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. - Review POP (proof of performance), BOL, Contracts, Term Sheets (MDF and SD) for payment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 3–7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related financial operations.
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial close processes.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and operational analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and manage projects through completion.
- Experience conducting financial reviews, audits, and business process analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial reporting tools.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP or other financial systems preferred.
- Ability to analyze business trends and forecast future revenues and expenses.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and company policies/procedures.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Fully onsite position.
- Requires frequent computer usage and ability to work with financial systems and reporting tools.
- May require occasional extended hours to meet business deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Must be able to communicate financial information through written reports, presentations, and meetings.
