This role is absolutely essential to our quality assurance processyou will be the final step in preparing our high-quality metal castings for our customers.

What You'll Do: Precision Finishing: Expertly operate various industrial grinding devices to remove excess metal (such as parting lines and rough edges) from metal castings, achieving a flawless final product. Initial Processing: Utilize specialized equipment, including gate-breakers and hammers, for initial casting preparation and separation. Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough quality checks on finished parts, identifying and sorting castings based on type and quality standards. (Knowledge of casting defects is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training!) Operational Excellence: Maintain strict compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and quality protocols.

Team ability to comprehend instructions and accept coaching and mentoring. Safety Focus: Proven ability to adhere to and successfully perform job functions consistent with Buck Company's strict safety policy. Previous experience or knowledge related to metal casting defects or industrial finishing is a plus.
