Role Description
The Lexington Clinic Foundation (“Foundation”) Executive Director serves as the general manager and primary administrative leader of the Foundation. Operating in a strategic dyad partnership with the President, the Executive Director provides guidance and assistance to the President and Board of Directors in all activities. This role is responsible for implementing the Foundation's strategic goals, providing leadership toward its philosophy and mission, and overseeing the distribution of funds for charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes.
The Executive Director manages all operations, including:
- Fundraising
- Event planning
- Budgeting
- Compliance
Qualifications
- Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree in Non-Profit Management, MHA, or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in 501(c)(3) operations, specifically within healthcare administration or collaborating with physician-led boards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of graphic design and fundraising/donor management software is a plus
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle for local travel
Requirements
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strong relationship building and public speaking skills
- Experience with meeting facilitation, writing policies, procedures, and requests for proposals
- Ability to review grants and develop plans
- Ability to direct and edit proposal material
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Valid driver’s license required
