Freight Pricing Clerk

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Clerk to work for a Medium sized forwarder.Working within an established team, previous freight pricing experience required for the role. Our client has 2 roles 1 x full-time Permanent role, and a maternity leave contract. Role Involves.Speaking with suppliers, airlines, Shipping line hauliers, etc, Negotiating rates, contractsDaily quoting one off quoted/ tenders/ RFQs for air and oceanMainly for working with overseas network partner Working on Cargo wise will be added benefit Working & Building relationship with overseas Network Agent.build relationship & bring new business.Strong Negotiations skillStrong numeracy skill Pricing and spot quotes to Network Agents, UK customers an Over sear customers Creating tariffs and quote packs for ongoing agents & customers.Working with Cargo wise in all aspect of pricing Regular liaising with Clients (Agents) / customers and business development.Regular meeting with Airlines, Hauliers & Suppliers and building relationship Regular team meeting with work discussion and targets.Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pmSalary depends on experience.
