Fund Accountant (CA Qualified)

Hiring for Big4,About the Role We are looking for a qualified CA with strongcore fund accounting experienceto join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in fund accounting, NAV calculation, fund structures, financial reporting, and investor-related accounting activities. Key Responsibilities Manageend-to-end fund accountingactivities for Private Equity, Alternative Investment, or Credit Funds.

Perform and reviewNAV calculations , trial balances (TBs), fund accounting entries, and periodic closing activities. Maintain and reviewfund structures , books of accounts, and financial reporting. Handlemanagement fee calculations, carried interest, waterfall calculations, and fund-level ratios .

Prepare and review investor capital statements, financial statements, and periodic reporting packs. Perform cash, position, and balancereconciliationswith custodians and other external parties. Support fund audits and respond to auditor queries with appropriate documentation and audit trails.

Ensure compliance with applicableUS GAAP / IFRSand fund accounting policies. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate strong client communication skills. Identify process gaps and contribute to improving fund accounting and reporting processes.

Required Skills & Experience CA qualificationwith4–8 years of post-qualification experiencein core fund accounting. Strong hands-on experience inNAV, TBs, fund structures, fund reporting, management fees, carried interest, and ratios . Experience working withPrivate Equity / Alternative Investment / Credit Fundswill be preferred.

Exposure to fund accounting platforms such aseFront, Geneva, or Investranwill be an added advantage. Strong understanding of accounting principles andUS GAAP / IFRS . Excellent analytical, problem-solving, andcommunication skills .
