Fund Accounting Director

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fund Accounting professional to lead a high-performing team within a well-established international financial services organisation. The Opportunity

Lead and develop multiple fund accounting teams, ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Oversee the end-to-end NAV production process, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely completion.

Build trusted relationships with clients and key external stakeholders including auditors, legal advisers and brokers.

Support new business opportunities, client onboarding and strategic initiatives.

Drive continuous improvement across systems, controls, processes and workflows.

Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance operational performance and client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership, coaching and performance management for fund accounting professionals.

Review complex accounting matters, financial reporting and regulatory deliverables.

Manage multiple client relationships while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.

Maintain a strong governance and control framework across the function.

Lead recruitment, talent development and succession planning.

Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Investor Services, Compliance and Business Development.

Resolve complex client and operational issues while identifying opportunities for improvement.

About You

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.

Extensive experience within hedge fund, private markets or alternative investment fund administration.

Proven leadership experience managing sizeable teams in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Commercially minded with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Strong understanding of fund accounting, NAV production and financial reporting.
