GC Analyst Industry: Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) Location: Barasat, KolkataJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced GC Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in pharmaceutical analysis. The role involves routine and advanced testing of APIs, raw materials, and drug products using Gas Chromatography (GC) in a NABL-accredited laboratory.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform GC analysis for APIs, raw materials, and finished productsConduct residual solvent analysis as per ICH guidelinesWork with IP / USP / BP methods and validated proceduresOperate and maintain GC systems (Headspace, FID)Interpret chromatographic data and ensure system suitabilityPerform method validation / verificationHandle OOS / OOT investigationsMaintain documentation as per ISO/IEC 17025 (NABL) and GLP
Experience & QualificationM.Sc. in Chemistry / Analytical / Pharmaceutical Chemistry8-10 years of GC experience (mandatory)Experience in pharmaceutical or TIC laboratory preferred
Skills RequiredStrong knowledge of GC techniques and residual solvent analysisFamiliarity with ICH guidelines and pharmacopeial methodsGood analytical and troubleshooting skillsStrong documentation practices
