Global Community Intern(UK)
rednote
Job Description
rednote (小红书) is China's leading lifestyle discovery platform with over 300 million users. Built on one belief: Everyday Wonder — that real, lived human experience is the most valuable thing on the internet. We're taking what makes rednote special — real people, real experiences, real community — and building it for a global audience.
Not with ad campaigns and influencer deals — but by finding students who know their cities from the inside and giving them the mandate, the resources, and the responsibility to build something real. This is the rednote Global Community Internship Program. ABOUT THE ROLE Our Global Community Interns sit at the intersection of creator marketing, community building, and local market activation.
Track 1: Content Creators Intern Responsibilities: Identify and recruit creators relevant to your community Build and maintain relationships with creators through outreach, events, and ongoing communication Spot emerging talent and cultural trends before they go mainstream Support creator onboarding — from first contact to first post Collaborate crossfunctionally with the activation team Track 2: Community Activation Intern Responsibilities: Plan and execute boutique events — pop-ups, campus activations, creator meetups Capture event outcomes — photos, feedback, sign-ups — and feed them back into the growth loop Be the face of the brand on the ground: approachable, energetic, and always representing our mission QUALIFICATIONS Required Currently enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate student in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Madrid, Barcelona, Copenhagen or Stockholm. You have an active creative practice in any format (content creation, event organizing, design, writing, or similar). You already belong to a community — art, journalism, design, campus media — and have the social trust to get people onboard.
You know how to find the right person and start the right conversation. You love the messy space between "idea" and "done" and will make things happen, even when directions change. You have a demonstrated track record of executing projects independently.
You’re self-managing, reliable, comfortable with ambiguity. You flag problems early and own outcomes. Preferred Experience organizing community events or student society leadership Familiarity with creator culture and social media ecosystems Existing presence on any social media or content platform (you don’t need a huge following — just show us you know how social “works”) #J-18808-Ljbffr
