Job Position Summary:
The Global Pricing Manager is responsible for driving end to end global pricing governance for selected global customers and regions. The role ensures effective cost pass through execution, disciplined annual price negotiations, accurate BOM and cost data integrity, and strong collaboration across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Regional Pricing teams.
This position acts as the global subject matter expert (SME) for pricing actions related to raw materials, resin, subcontracting, freight, energy, and other cost escalations, while continuously enhancing pricing digitization tools, dashboards, and management reporting
This role acts as the critical link between Regional Pricing, Regional Sales teams, Finance, Customer Service, SAP/IT and site operations driving commercial discipline while supporting global revenue and margin objectives.

The Global Pricing Manager is accountable for ensuring accurate, timely, and contract-compliant pricing execution across global regions, with a primary focus on:Raw material inflation cost pass through calculations for global tier 1 customers as per agreed pass-through cycle. (Quarterly / Half yearly / Annual)End-to-End management of annual price negotiation cycle customers for contractual productivity payouts & non contractual cost pass throughFollow-through with Sales to ensure price approvals are aligned with the customer in a timely mannerAnalyse Regional/Plant Site P&Ls periodically to identify cost escalationsPreparation for the Weekly and Monthly Management reportingPricing governance and SAP integrityClose coordination with regional and global stakeholdersContinuous enhancement of the digitization tool and dashboards The role is a control, enablement, and execution role, designed to prevent margin leakage, ensure contractual compliance, and enable Sales to confidently engage customers with fact based pricing updates globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Metal Pass-Through & Price Updates (Quarterly / Half yearly / Annual)Calculate raw material inflation cost based on metal index movements at part-number level using approved indices and base periods per customer contract.Apply customer- and region-specific pass through frequencies, thresholds, and conditions.Validate volume, FX assumptions, and baseline logic in alignment with Finance and Global Pricing.Define and maintain the list of global customers under centralized pricing governance. Expand pricing scope from raw material escalation to include resin, subcontracting, freight, energy, and other variable cost drivers. Periodically analyse Regional and Plant P&Ls to proactively identify cost escalations, margin risks, and pricing gapsPrepare globally standardized yet region-specific pricing files and auditable documentation. 2. Sales Alignment & Customer Pricing SupportProactively share pricing impact output files with regional Sales teams and walk them through: Raw material index driversPass-through logic/methodologyExpected customer $impactSupport Sales during global and regional customer discussions and negotiations.Act as the global pricing subject matter expert, ensuring consistency in pricing logic and governance across regions. 3. Governance, Reporting & Cadence ManagementFacilitate and lead weekly regional pricing review calls to track pricing actions and escalations.Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly management reports with actionable insights.Ensure regions report accurate, consistent data during Monthly Operations Reviews (MOR). 4. Price Approval & Governance ControlEnsure pricing approvals are obtained per DOA before customer communication.Track approval status and follow up with Sales to prevent cycle slippage.Confirm that final agreed prices are documented, approved, and aligned with customer sign off before SAP implementation. 5. SAP Price Implementation & IntegrityCoordinate with Regional pricing & Customer Service teams to ensure new prices are correctly uploaded in SAP prior to price effective start date as per agreement. (Quarterly/Half-yearly/Annual)Validate effective dates, condition records, currencies, and customer/part combinations.Monitor SAP price change logs to: Identify unauthorized or manual price changes,Resolve data discrepancies promptlyEnsure supporting documentation and approvals existEnsure accuracy and completeness of BOMs and pricing data in SAP. Work closely with plant sites and regional teams to resolve data errors and omissions 6. Budget & Financial Planning SupportEnsure metal pass-through and productivity impacts are accurately reflected in global budget and outlook files.Support Finance during global budget and forecast cycles. 7. Pricing Analysis & Continuous ImprovementDrive global standardization, process harmonization, and digitization initiatives in pricing execution.Continuous enhancement of the digitization tool and dashboards.
