Your ImpactAs a seasoned Forklift Specialist in a GMP manufacturing environment, you keep production flowing. You’ll navigate racking, manage inventory integrity, and move materials with precision—always with safety and quality top of mind.
A Day in the Life- Start your shift with equipment checks, then safely operate sit-down forklifts and related material-handling equipment to support active production lines.
- Execute cycle counts, physical inventory, and product verifications to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Load/receive trailers; stage and move goods in and out of racking per demand.
- Complete Hazmat-compliant loading documentation with care and accuracy.
- Use the plant’s warehouse management system (WMS) and RFID for transactions and traceability.
- Assist with packing and quality checks; hand-stack pallets when required to keep operations smooth.
- Own the final quality of each unit in the customer shipper—ask the Team Leader whenever a standard is unclear.
- Maintain GMP, SOP, and safety compliance; keep your area orderly and report hazards immediately.
- Join Continuous Improvement efforts that elevate safety, flow, and accuracy.
- Work around high noise (location dependent) and a variety of chemicals.
1st shift: Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm and Friday 7:00am–3:30pm EST, with overtime as needed. Pay: $21.63 per hour.
What You’ll Bring- 2+ years of forklift experience (sit-down strongly preferred).
- Background in distribution, manufacturing, and/or food environments preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Strong focus and situational awareness: visually concentrate, stay alert, and listen intently for extended periods.
- Physical readiness to stand, sit, lift, bend, crouch, reach, and climb consistently for up to twelve hours.
- Manual dexterity to grasp/manipulate packaging components (sprayers, bottles, caps).
- Adherence to Health & Safety and GMP regulations.
- Lift up to 45 lbs from the floor occasionally.
- Safely operate forklifts around people and equipment for up to 12 hours.
- Comfort working in a non-temperature-controlled area with high heat and humidity at times.
