Talent Corner HR Services Pvt Ltd
Job Description
Graphic & Product Designer
Location: South Mumbai (Fort / Lower Parel)
Type: Full-time, in-office
Experience: 3–4 years
About us
We're an early-stage Indian startup building a new-age brand in the watch space. Design is not a function we plan to figure out later. It is central to everything we make and everything we put out into the world — including the physical objects we sell.
The role
As one of our first in-house designers, you will own the brand's visual language across every surface a customer touches — social, web, print, packaging, retail, and events — and you will also shape how that language translates onto the product itself: dial layouts, caseback narratives, and packaging structure. You will work closely with the founder and the brand team to translate our identity into work that is consistent, considered, and unmistakably premium, whether it's a reel cover or a caseback engraving.
We are looking for a designer with strong fundamentals, a clear point of view, and genuine taste — someone who can think in both flat layouts and physical form, and execute quickly without dropping the standard.
What you'll do
Brand & communication design
- Design social content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms — feed posts, carousels, reels covers, stories, and campaign creatives.
- Create marketing collateral — catalogues, mail templates, and decks.
- Design website pages, e-commerce assets, and email campaign creatives in collaboration with developers, agencies and copywriters.
- Develop and protect the brand's visual system — typography, colour, layout, and photographic treatment — across every touchpoint.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, copywriters, and external agencies on shoots and campaigns.
- Adapt the brand identity for retail spaces, in-store collateral, events, and point-of-sale materials.
Product & object design
- Develop dial and caseback concepts that translate brand narrative and cultural references into wearable design elements — working from initial ideas through to refined, production-ready artwork.
- Support packaging design — structural concepts, materials, and finishes — in collaboration with founders and external manufacturers.
- Prepare clean, organised handoff packs (specs, vectors, callouts) for manufacturing and CAD partners, and review prototypes/samples against design intent.
- Contribute concepts for limited editions, commemorative pieces, and new collection themes.
What we're looking for
- 3–4 years of design experience, ideally with a consumer brand (fashion, beauty, jewellery, watches, luxury, or lifestyle).
- A strong portfolio that shows range across digital and print, and a clear eye for premium aesthetics.
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
- Strong typography, layout, composition, and colour fundamentals.
- Genuine curiosity about physical/product design — comfortable thinking in three dimensions and translating a concept into something that can be manufactured, even without formal CAD training.
- Ability to take a brief, ask the right questions, and come back with options.
- Detail-obsessed — kerning, alignment, and consistency matter to you, on screen and on an object.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with multiple projects in flight.
- Nice to have: basic CAD or 3D visualisation exposure (Rhino, KeyShot, or similar), motion design, or art direction experience on shoots.
- Genuine interest in watches is a strong plus.
