Job Title: Grocery Clerk – Part-Time or Full-Time

Location: Lake Cowichan

Our Lake Cowichan location is looking for a Grocery Clerk (part-time or full-time) to join our family! The grocery department is responsible for providing an exceptional level of customer service and product knowledge as well as creating an amazing product display.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfactory
• Stock shelves and display area
• Assist customers to product inquiry and make recommendation
• Record incoming stock and price items using stickers/labelling
• Assist with bagging groceries for customers
• Other task as required by immediate superior

Pay

CA$18.25 – CA$22.0 per hour

Experience

• Related retail experience is an asset but not required

Working Conditions

• Ability to safely bend, twist, and lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis
• Ability to walk and stand for the duration of shift
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures
• A high-level of motivation and a proactive attitude
• Desire to provide outstanding customer service and to comply with established department procedures and safe work practice
• A willingness to learn and openness to coaching and feedback

Schedule Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours
• Must be available weekends, evenings , and holidays
