Job Description
A leading global technology organisation is seeking a Group Commercial Revenue Officer (Contract) to lead the evolution of its pricing and revenue models. As the business modernises its platform and introduces AI-enabled capabilities, this role will drive the transition from legacy pricing structures to scalable, SaaS‑aligned frameworks. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, the role will partner closely with the CEO, Business Unit leaders, and Technology teams to deliver practical, future‑ready commercial outcomes.
The Role
You will lead the design and execution of modern pricing and revenue models, moving the business from legacy constructs to SaaS‑aligned frameworks. This includes translating strategic pricing architecture into practical, executable transition plans across business units. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands‑on delivery, with a strong focus on stakeholder alignment, client migration, and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and diagnose existing revenue models, pricing structures, and client contracts
- Design modern pricing frameworks, including usage‑based, modular, platform, and value‑based approaches
- Partner with the CFO, CEO, and Business Unit leaders to align on pricing strategy and priorities
- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure pricing aligns with platform capabilities and AI evolution
- Lead migration from legacy pricing models, including sequencing and client transition strategies
- Support implementation across sales, finance, product, and customer teams
- Conduct external benchmarking to validate pricing competitiveness and positioning
About You
- Proven experience leading pricing or revenue model transformation initiatives
- Background in consulting, strategy, or advisory environments is highly regarded
- Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of SaaS and recurring revenue models
- Experience partnering with C‑suite stakeholders and influencing senior decision‑making
- Commercially pragmatic with the ability to operate hands‑on in complex environments
- Able to simplify and communicate complex pricing and technology concepts clearly
