Job Description
Lead Group Consolidation & Reporting
- Oversee the full consolidation process for managerial and statutory reporting, including IFRS‑compliant statements, adjustments, eliminations, and monthly shareholder reporting.
Drive Planning Cycles & Corporate Budget Control
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting timelines and submissions, own corporate overhead budget management, and ensure disciplined cost control, variance analysis, and accurate forecasting.
Provide Insightful Financial Analysis
- Deliver high-quality financial analysis and commentary to senior stakeholders across consolidation, planning cycles, and ad‑hoc requests, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
Maintain and Enhance the Group Reporting Framework
- Own consolidation structures, entity scope, intercompany eliminations, and ensure reporting systems remain accurate, sustainable, and fit for purpose. Lead continuous improvements across processes and tools.
Leadership, Controls & Audit Management
- Lead and develop a team of three, uphold a strong internal control environment, and manage interactions with internal and external auditors to ensure seamless audit readiness.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Finance - Consolidations professional should have:
- Strong technical knowledge of multinational group consolidation, IFRS, tax reporting, and complex reporting structures.
- High proficiency in SAP, BPC, Excel, and analytics tools; experience with alternative consolidation or planning solutions advantageous.
- Proven ability to turn complex financial data into clear, concise insights and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated people leadership, team development experience, and an operational excellence approach to improving processes and reporting.
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA (or equivalent) with 8‑10+ years post‑qualification experience in group reporting, consolidation, and financial planning within global environments.
