Hardware Engineering Manager – Consumer Electronics

We are working on a Hardware Engineering Manager search in San Francisco for a growing consumer electronics company building rugged, high-performance products.

This is not a “manage from a distance” role.

The sweet spot? A Principal/Lead Engineer ready for leadership, or a hands-on Engineering Manager who still wants to prototype, troubleshoot, make architecture decisions, and take products all the way to mass production.

What will get our attention:

• Strong EE / systems architecture background
• Consumer electronics / wearables / audio / medical devices / rugged electronics
• Products taken from development → high-volume manufacturing
• Direct Asian ODM/JDM/CM manufacturing experience
• Comfortable leading a small ME + EE + Firmware team
• Still genuinely hands-on

San Francisco – 4 days onsite

$200K–$230K + bonus + equity

Taiwan travel approximately 2–4x/year
