About the Role
The Company is in search of a Director of IT Operations to spearhead enterprise production operations and operational resilience initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day technology stability, driving structured change management, and enhancing IT service maturity. This pivotal role demands a leader who can blend operational excellence with modernization, overseeing 24×7 production systems, and strengthening disaster recovery and business continuity practices.
The Director will also be tasked with building a data-driven service management culture in a highly regulated environment, reducing single points of failure, and improving mean time to recovery and detection. Applicants for the Director of IT Operations position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' IT experience, with a focus on leadership in IT operations, particularly within financial services or a regulated industry. The role requires a deep understanding of ITSM and change management frameworks, experience in leading hybrid environments, and a proven track record in BCP/DR program ownership.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing cross-functional operational teams, excellent executive communication, and incident leadership skills, as well as experience in vendor governance and global delivery oversight. Familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks and a background in modernizing operations through automation or SRE practices are also essential, along with an ITIL certification.
