About the Role
The role will be part of the core leadership team and is responsible for leading their in-house legal capabilities as a trusted business partner to the Group CEO and senior management on legal risks and governance matters in a highly regulated industry.
Responsibilities
Develop, execute and lead the legal strategy and governance across the organization, with a specialized focus on digital assets.Draft and review policies, disclosures, and agreements to ensure regulatory compliance and establish internal governance policies and legal programs.Build scalable and effective legal processes for digital asset offerings, tokenization, custody, and trading platforms in alignment with business goals and regulatory frameworks.Advise on and support business-critical matters including licensing, partnership, fundraising and investment activities.Build and manage a high-performing legal team across jurisdictions while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and legal excellence.
Qualifications
LL.B from a reputable institutionMin. 15 years PQE, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within Insurance.Excellent leadership skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
