About the Role

The Company is in search of an Interim Head of Legal to serve as the primary legal advisor to the CEO and executive team, with a strong emphasis on supporting the commercial organization. This role is pivotal in the hands-on, business-embedded approach, requiring the successful candidate to be a strategic problem-solver and possess sharp commercial judgment. Responsibilities include acting as a thought partner and lead negotiator in complex enterprise deals, advising on corporate governance practices, and leading a small legal and compliance team.

The ideal candidate will have a JD from an accredited law school, an active license to practice law, and a background that includes deep commercial and enterprise contracting experience, particularly in a highly regulated environment. Applicants for the Interim Head of Legal position at the company should have a background as a Head of Legal or in a comparable senior in-house legal role, with a proven track record in strategic problem-solving and a business-minded perspective. Experience in regulatory and healthcare SaaS, as well as a familiarity with various healthcare verticals, is preferred.
