Head of Warehouse Operations (f/m/x)

About the role

HelloFresh's flagship fulfilment site in Bleiswijk, De Kas, determines whether thousands of meal boxes leave on time. As Head of Warehouse Operations (internally Warehouse Manager), you own the pre‑production operation: the critical phase that makes assembly possible. You manage three teams—expedition, internal transport, and reverse logistics—to keep stock accurate and the yard running like clockwork.

You'll be part of the Production Leadership Team which shapes strategy and gives you a seat at the table.

What you’ll do: The Recipe

• Lead the full pre‑production operation across the three departments.
• Drive performance through KPIs, using minutes‑per‑box as the primary lens, and translate operational data into fast, grounded decisions.
• Coach, challenge and develop a team of team leads and roughly 100 warehouse staff, building a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Hold the line on safety by ensuring compliance is lived on the floor.
• Own WMS governance and data quality.
• Contribute to site strategy as an active member of the Production Leadership Team.
• Take the lead on site‑level projects such as transitions, WMS developments and process redesigns.

What you’ll bring: The Ingredients

• Proven experience managing warehouse or logistics operations at scale.
• Strong people leadership skills, comfortable setting high standards.
• Hands‑on familiarity with a Warehouse Management System.
• An analytical mindset able to spot patterns quickly.
• Fluency in Dutch and English and communication skills to lead diverse teams.
• Background in e‑commerce, food or FMCG is a genuine advantage.
