Job Description
Job Title :- Head OperationsLocation :- MumbaiJob Roles and Responsibilities :-Define processes aligned with the Bank's vision and Retail Business objectives. Ensure standardization of Branch processes, Data quality and service delivery.Maintain strong internal controls and fraud prevention mechanisms.Minimize operational frauds, identify, and minimize risk prone areas.Ensure Regulatory adherence in all areas of Operations.Collaborate with Audit teams, ensure correctness of compliance and timely closure of audit points.Identify and segregate Branch and Back-office operations. Establish Back-office units through process re-engineering.Ensure smooth cross over of processes from Branch to Back office.Manage and mentor a team to monitor both Branch operations and Back-office units.Roll out, review and modification of SOPs.
Developing mechanism for monitoring adherence to SOPs.Developing mechanism to measure operational efficiency.Identify process improvement opportunities and processes which can be digitized.Develop and manage operational budgets.Developing a culture where TAT and quality both are adhered without compromise on either.Reduction of TAT and improvement in FTR.Collaborate with IT, Compliance, Legal, AML and Business teams for smooth roll out of processes. Provide inputs to Business teams with respect to Customer profiling, Customer service.Manage external partners (vendors/ fintech). Ensuring Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
Qualifications & ExperienceMBA/ Postgraduate (preferred)More than 12 years of experience in Retail Banking Operations.Minimum 5 years proven track record in a leadership role in a mid-sized Bank.Extensive experience and knowledge of Banking Operations.Strong regulatory and compliance knowledge.Age : Below 50 years
