Health And Safety Manager

Overview

We are looking for an on-site construction safety manager for various electrical, civil, and mechanical projects, including electric substation and relay upgrades, concrete structure rehabilitations, demolitions, earthworks, equipment upgrades, and overhead crane upgrades. This position is on-site and locally based.

Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Location

LOCALS ONLY - Field work is required in the areas surrounding Spring Valley, NY

Schedule

M-F 7am-4pm/8am-5pm (approx)

Responsibilities

• Development of activity hazard assessments.
• Contractor oversight.
• Review and management of safety submittals.
• Safety documentation, safety audits, corrective actions.
• Daily on-site safety meetings.

Qualifications

• At least 8-10 years of related construction safety experience is required.
• Ability to utilize computer software (Microsoft Office).
• BS in a basic science OR technical degree in the field of EHS management, OR relevant work experience in EH&S
